In 1978, local Hispanic leaders realized the enormous potential of the Hispanic business community and envisioned the need for an organization to represent its interests before the public and private sectors.
The Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GRHCC) was incorporated, creating a structured organization aimed at developing a business network that would help the city’s growing Hispanic community prosper.
Since its inception, the GRHCC has worked to strengthen the Hispanic owned business community by promoting economic alliances, influencing public policy and supporting efforts that foster a better educated work force.
The GRHCC fosters economic development by cultivating business relationships of mutual benefit; advocating for laws and regulations that benefit Hispanic-owned businesses and the Hispanic community; and seeking opportunities to reinforce the importance of education.
To be a dynamic, proactive, influential organization that plays a vital role in advancing the business,
political and educational interests of the Hispanic community
