    Erlan Gonzalez currently serves as the Economic Development Project Coordinator (2nd Supervisorial District) for the Riverside County Economic Development Agency.

    Erlan facilitates the development of commercial and industrial projects in the unincorporated areas of Riverside County. His responsibilities include fostering

    relationships with chambers of commerce, economic development committees, and commercial and industrial development organizations.

    Erlan has been involved with the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since 2004; he is also a Board Member of Hispanos Unidos of Moreno Valley.

    Erlan received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. He currently lives in Riverside.

Lorraine Saint

    Born and raised in Riverside, and as a former Community Relations Representative for the City of Riverside Public Utilities, Lorraine fosters a strong sense of pride in continuing to volunteer, work and live in Riverside.

    She is an alumnus of the 2003 Blueprint for Volunteer Diversity, and is committed to staying active in her community.

    In addition to serving as a Board of Director for the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, and looks forward to serving as a continuing member of United Way's Committee Review Team.

    Lorraine received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix Online and plans to attend the University of Redlands in March 2006 to pursue a MBA with an emphasis in Finance. In the meantime, Lorraine is busy establishing her own business, LHS & Company.

    Lorraine has been married to husband Adrian for nine years; together, they enjoy walking, dancing and sports. Lorraine is an avid softball player, and regularly plays in women's softball leagues in Riverside.

    Frances Gines works for the State of California Employment Development Department (EDD), Job Service Branch. She coordinates activities that promote services to uphold EDD's vision and role in economic development and workforce preparation. She establishes a strong commitment between the partners of the Workforce Development Agency and the EDD to identify objectives that support the local community regarding employment or education.

    Frances currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside Employer Advisory Council, and is involved in the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Economic Development and the Business and Education Partnership committees.

    Frances holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and is a graduate of the 2003 Blueprint for Volunteer Diversity Leadership Development Program. Frances resides in Murrieta, and her hobbies include reading, dancing, traveling, and relaxing outdoors.

Andy Melendrez

    Andy Melendrez is a business owner, community volunteer and newly elected City Council Member for Ward 2. Andy began his own business, Innovative Vocational Services, more than 23 years ago. His business has expanded and includes expert testimony, family law evaluations, early intervention services for the State of California Department of Corrections, and career guidance for workers within the worker's compensation system.

    He has offices in Riverside, Victorville, and Palm Desert. Andy graduated from Riverside Community College in 1974 and graduated from California State College, San Bernardino in 1976 with his Bachelor's Degree. He later returned to California State University, San Bernardino and graduated with his Master's Degree in 1990.

    Andy is a Riverside native as are his parents. He is married to wife Ann-Marie Orta Melendrez and between them have four children and two grandchildren.

    Kathy Barr is Director of External Affairs at AT&T/SBC. She has been with AT&T for more than 30 years, beginning as a Directory Assistance Operator. She has enjoyed various positions within the company and currently represents the Inland Empire for community, government and public relations.

    She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree at the University of Redlands and Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.

    Kathy resides in Yorba Linda with her husband of 19 years, Donald, who is also an employee of AT&T/SBC. No children, but they have two Miniature Schnauzers, Beemer and Scout.

    Her hobbies include reading, personal fitness, and soccer.

    She is originally from Argentina and is fluent in Spanish. Sarah believes strongly in participating in the community to help make it a better place for people to live in.

    She especially likes to volunteer her time to projects related to children.

    Sarah currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and International Relations Council of Riverside.

    Sarah has been a resident of Riverside for more than 18 years, and holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Riverside Community College.

    She and husband Ed have been married for 23 years and are still raising two of their three children. They enjoy traveling all over the world as much as they can.

    Christopher Sandoval is Vice President of Administration and Marketing for Hispanic Lifestyle. Along with his brother Ryan and father Richard, a Past President of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, they collectively work together in promoting the positive images of the Latino community.

    Christopher is responsible for coordinating Hispanic Lifestyle's Latina Conference, Business Expo & Conference, and their prestigious Inland Empire Hispanic Image Awards.

    He is also co-host of their weekly Podcast, an Internet broadcast focusing on national Latino issues. In addition to serving on the Board of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Christopher serves as President of the Western Riverside County Democratic Club, and volunteers at the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific and Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Inland Empire and Orange County.

    In 2004, Christopher received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Business Management at the University of California, Irvine. Currently, Christopher is in his second year at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California.

    Aurelio Aguirre is Regional Manager for the Riverside County Economic Development Agency. A native of Riverside, he is active in his community and region.

    Aurelio has served as President of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, President of the Moreno Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

    His hobbies include baseball, golf, reading and painting.
